Spoke with Charlotte, one of Jimmy Cayne\'s
assistants. She said I could fax over the information/resume
to212-272-7808 but Jimmy is out of town and I would get a better
response talking to Arnie in HR 212-272-7799. |

Called Arnie Kanarick, Sr. Managing Director. Talked
to Joannie, very young sounding girl who must have been a temp. Then
Janet got on the phone, Arnie\'s assistant and advised me to mail
resume. I asked for e-mail address but they do not give them out.
Then she said I could fax resume to her and she would see that Arnie
gets it. Will follow up |

Called back into Jimmy Cayne\'s office/CEO. Charlotte
said resume was given to Jimmy when he got back in town; should
follow up with HR. Called HR--Janet said to fax it again. We should
have gotten a response by now so just in case, fax it again. She
said literally they receive hundred\'s of resumes a day but she did
not think there was an opening in CRM at this time. But she will
respond to this fax. |

Talked to Janet again--she asked that I fax the resume
again!!!She said that since she thought we were a search firm, she
put the resume aside. Said she would see that Arnie gets it and will
let him know there is no fee. |

Janet did get the resume and Arnie saw it and passed
it on to Tony. She said it may take a little while for Tony to
contact Sue. I will follow up next Monday if we do not hear
anything before then. |

Spoke with Ellen--she is Tony\'s assistant. She took
my name and phone # and said she would give it to Tony. I could also
send resume again to careers@bear.com. She said Tony is extremely
busy--does campus recruiting, etc. Is hardly in the office. Ellen
said there are few positions held by high level executives and much
harder to place. They are inudated daily by 20 - 30 resumes with no
fee and too many e-mails to respond to. I recommend we get the name
of someone out of CRM and talk to them directly. |
